Can I get Kela reimbursement for health care visits paid with Edenred Wellbeing benefit?

It is possible to receive Kela reimbursement for health care treatments paid with the Edenred Wellbeing benefit directly at the checkout.

When you use Edenred Wellbeing to pay for health care treatments, the direct reimbursement procedure may apply at the time of payment if the other conditions for reimbursement are met and you present your Kela card.

The service provider must have a valid agreement with Kela on direct reimbursement of medical care in order to deduct the Kela reimbursement from your health care fee.

The revised Kela policy has entered into force on 1.6.2023.
