Can the sports and culture benefit be used to pay for massage services?

The sports and culture benefit cannot be used to pay for massage services.

The Tax Administration has ruled that massage services cannot be paid for with the sports and culture benefit. The benefit is intended for voluntary recreational and leisure activities. To be able to pay for a massage with your employee benefit, you must have a separate massage benefit. Read more on the Tax Administration's website (3.5.2.29.)
