How do I activate my Edenred card?

You can activate your Edenred card on the MyEdenred Finland application or at myedenred.fi

Please note:

• Each benefit/card (Lounari/Virike, Massage, Transport, Dental) has its own activation serial number and each card needs to be activated separately. The one and the same activation serial number cannot be used to activate other cards.
• If you receive a new card for example to replace an expired one, you need to activate it in order to use your benefit. 

Choose the best alternative:

I'm a new Edenred user.
I already have a MyEdenred account.
I've changed employer/my other employer also offers Edenred benefits/my employer's contract with Edenred has changed.

I'm a new Edenred user:

1. Download the MyEdenred Finland app from your app store or go to myedenred.fi
   
2. Open MyEdenred and select 'Activate card'.
3. Enter the 10-digit activation serial number of the card and your Finnish social security number.
   
   The virtual card's activation serial number can be found from the email sent by Edenred Finland. (Massage, Transport and Dental cards are only virtual.)
   The physical card's activation serial number is behind the card next to the CVC code.
   
   (Note! If you get an error message about the social security number, please call our customer service. After we've completed a strong identification, we can check your details in the system.)
   

4. Once you have activated your card, you can proceed to create your MyEdenred credentials. 

• Come up with a username, you can use for example your email address.
• The username cannot contain special characters (such as  / ° * & × é ð Ω), special alphabets (such as ä ö å) or empty spaces. The most common special characters are allowed though ( - – .+_@ ).

You have now registered to MyEdenred and can start using your benefits! Please remember to activate each of your card with their own activation serial number, if you have several benefits in use. The one and the same activation serial number cannot be used to activate other cards.

I already have a MyEdenred account:

1. Log in to your MyEdenred account.
2. By scrolling the front page you can see all the benefits your employer offers you and their status.
3. Click 'Activate card' on the benefit, if you haven't activated it yet. (Rememebr to activate each card separately if you have several benefits in use.)
4. Enter the card's 10-digit activation serial number and your Finnish social security number.

• The virtual card's activation serial number can be found from the email sent by Edenred Finland. (Massage, Transport and Dental cards are only virtual.)
• The physical card's activation serial number is behind the card next to the CVC code.

I've changed employer/my other employer also offers Edenred benefits/my employer's contract with Edenred has changed:

You need to create a completely new MyEdenred username, as usernames are tied to an employer or contract.

1. Log out from your old account.
2. Start creating your new credentials by activating your new card. (It's ok to activate an already activated card again.)
3. Enter your card's 10-digit activation serial number and your Finnish social security number.

• The virtual card's activation serial number can be found from the email sent by Edenred Finland. (Massage, Transport and Dental cards are only virtual.)
• The physical card's activation serial number is behind the card next to the CVC code.

4. Create a completely new MyEdenred username by clicking 'Sign up' and complete the registration process. Previous usernames cannot be used at this stage.

You have now created a new MyEdenred account and can start using your benefit! Please remember to activate each of your card with their own activation serial number, if you have several benefits in use. The one and the same activation serial number cannot be used to activate other cards.
