Employer, update the lunch benefit load values for 2026

Read the instructions on this page and update the 2026 values for your employees.

Tax Administration has published 2026 lunch values

The lunch benefit's minimum value is 8.80€ and the maximum value is 14.00€. The new values will take effect on 1.1.2026.

Edenred will update new in the Ordering tool on 10.12.2025 and to Employer portal in the turn of the year, after which employers can edit their settings according to them. On this page, you'll find instructions for necessary changes.

Planning to still make loads for December 2025?

If you are using the Ordering tool, please complete all lunch benefit loads for December 2025 before 10.12.2025, so that you can do them with the lunch values for the year 2025.

Maximum of lunch benefit and working days

If you have set the lunch benefit to be loaded with maximum value for the benefit and working days in the Ordering tool, changes to the lunch values do not require any action from you.

The new values will be automatically updated in the Ordering tool and the lunch benefit will be loaded with the 2026 values starting in January.

Custom spending limit or number of working days

Updating spending limit and load settings in Ordering tool

If you have manually set the lunch benefit spending limit or are managing the fixed number of working days, please update the spending limit for 2026 in the Ordering tool settings after 10.12.2025.

If you make the loads for January before 10.12.2025, the lunch benefit will be loaded with the 2025 spending limit.

Update the lunch benefit spending limit in the Ordering tool settings Customer number › Edenred card › Settings › Lunch benefit spending limit, and then modify the load request settings under Employee orders › Load request › Settings › Lounari.

Employees' load requests

If an employee has submitted a load request before 10.12. or when you have updated the settings, but you want to load the lunch benefit using the 2026 load value, the load request must be edited in the Ordering tool.

Alternatively, you can reject the original load request and instruct the employee to submit it again after the load value has been updated.

You can find load requests pending  approval under Employee orders › Loadi request › Order confirmation › Lounari.

If employees have the automatic repeat function enabled, remind them to update it according to the new values in the Edenred app.

Pay-by-Usage invoicing model

If your company uses employee benefits with the Pay-by-Usage invoicing model, update the values loaded to your employees for 2026 by filling out the form below by 15.12.2025.

If the form is not filled by the deadline, the January loads will be made with the 2025 values.

Lounari settings in the Employer portal

Edenred will update the values of the lunch benefit in the Employer portal at the turn of the year, and starting 1.1.2026, employers can update the spending limit and load value according to the new values in the Lounari settings.

Please note that if you have already set the lunch benefit to be loaded with the maximum benefit value option (recommended), no action is required from you. Edenred will automatically update the values for you.

Lunch vouchers

Lunch voucher value in 2026 is 14,00 €.

Lunch vouchers can be ordered with the new values by logging into the Employer portal. We will inform the date when new vouchers can be ordered as soon as possible!
