How does the sports and culture benefit work for employers?
The Sports and Culture Benefit is a 100% tax-free employee benefit within the limits defined by the Finnish tax authorities. It must be offered on a collective basis to all employees. The benefit can also be provided with an employee co-payment option.
The Sports and Culture Benefit is funded directly by the employer and can be loaded either as a single annual allocation or in multiple installments throughout the year. It is also compatible with the MyChoice feature, which gives employees greater flexibility by allowing them to decide whether to use their balance for sports and culture activities or allocate it to other available employee benefits.
