MyChoice enables flexible employee benefits according to your own choice

Employee benefits are full of possibilities: some use their benefits for sports activities, others for culture. Some appreciate massages or health services, while others cover public transportation costs. Edenred’s MyChoice offers employees a unique freedom to use their employee benefits exactly according to their own choices – effortlessly and free of charge.

What is MyChoice?

Edenred's MyChoice is a feature that provides freedom of choice by allowing flexible transfers of employee benefit balances between different benefits. This gives employees the freedom to use their balances for Virike, commuting, massage, and wellbeing benefits as they wish. MyChoice ensures (under certain conditions) that transferred balances do not exceed the tax-free maximum limits set by the Finnish Tax Administration.

The feature is activated by the employer once at least two eligible benefits under MyChoice are offered to employees. Transfers are conveniently done via the employees’ Edenred app.

MyChoice works conveniently with the Edenred App

If your employer has enabled MyChoice and all benefit cards are activated, you can easily transfer balances between your benefits in the Edenred app:

1. Open the Edenred app and select any benefit included in MyChoice (Virike, Massage, Transport, or Wellbeing).
2. From the benefit’s page, select Transfer balance.
3. Choose from which and to which benefit you want to transfer your balance.
4. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

5. Confirm the transfer – your balances are immediately ready to use!

Please note that you can make up to 5 transfers within 30 days, and you may transfer balances up to the maximum annual limits for the benefits (so make transfers as needed).

Employer, activate MyChoice

As an employer, you can offer your staff even more flexible employee benefits by activating MyChoice. Your contract needs to include at least two benefits covered by the feature: Virike, Massage, Transport, and Wellbeing. You can choose which benefits are included, but remember: the more benefits, the more possibilities!
