Wellbeing benefit
The wellbeing benefit can be used for the payment of health services that maintain work ability. These services include e.g. dental care, physiotherapy, or specialist doctor services. See the full list However, the benefit cannot be used to pay for aesthetic services.
The employer defines the types of services for which the benefit can be used for. Therefore, check from your employer before using the benefit which services you can use it for.
In addition, Kela has determined that direct reimbursement can be applied to treatments paid with the wellbeing benefit when the other conditions for reimbursement are met and the Kela card is presented.
Edenred Wellbeing is a completely virtual benefit. You can easily pay for services through Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The Tax Administration determines the annual tax-free limit for the wellbeing benefit. The general validity period of the benefit is 2 years (depending on your employer's contract type).
