Important information for Merchants during coronavirus pandemic

We’ve collected the most important information for you to be aware of during the corona pandemic here.

LUNCH BENEFIT MERCHANTS

1. Lunch benefit can be used to pay for meal delivery

The Finnish Tax Authority has made a temporary exception to the lunch benefit usage rule. The benefit can now be used to pay for meal delivery. This exception is valid from 24 March 2020 to 31 August 2020.
The lunch allowance remains the same, from 6.80 € to 10.70 € per working day.

2. Make sure people know that you offer take-away or delivery services: update this information in the Merchant portal today!

Everyday, we get questions from customers looking for restaurants that offer take-away food and home delivery. We direct these customers to Edenred’s search engine tool: Places Search.
If you offer the take-away and/or home delivery, please make sure that this information is up-to-date in the Merchant portal and thus appears in our Places Search.

Instructions how to update the information:

1.    Login to Merchant portal from the button below.

2.    Click the title “Merchant” form the sidebar.

3.    Now you will see the first page “Edenred’s search”. Please find the “Categories” part below the marketing name of your company.

4.    Click the word “category” found below in grey in order to write to the field. Write there take-away and/or lunch delivery and click enter.

5.  Save the changes from the “save” button below the page.

PS. While you’re in the portal, please take the time to check that all your company information is correct & make any necessary updates. Thank you!

3. We have temporarily waived the obligation to sign receipts

In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Edenred has decided to temporarily waive the obligation to sign the transaction receipts when payment is made with the Edenred card. However, the cashier needs to be aware that the payment was made with an Edenred employee benefit card.

1. Do you offer online training? Make sure people know that by updating the information in the Merchant portal today!

HOW TO update Merchant portal to show you have online training:

1.    Login to Merchant portal from the button below.

2.    Click the title “Merchant” form the sidebar.

3.    Now you will see the first page “Edenred’s search”. Please find the “Categories” part below the marketing name of your company.

4.    Click the word “category” found below in grey in order to write to the field. Write there online training and click enter.

5.  Save the changes from the “save” button below the page.
